The African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD), through the Skills Initiative for Africa (SIFA), is pleased to invite you to our
3rd Webinar on Practical Apprenticeship Tools in Africa
on the 21 November 2022 from 14:00 to 17:00 CAT.
A number of African countries are already offering apprenticeship programmes and, increasingly, attention is being given to practical apprenticeship tools that can facilitate their implementation.
These tools are being made available through a SIFA mapping activity by a team of experts from the consulting company GOPA (Germany). Based on examples from the mapping exercise, the webinar will present and discuss practical apprenticeship tools currently used in various African apprenticeship programmes in both private and public sector offerings.
The November webinar will discuss:
- A special tangible apprenticeship tool that is used in apprenticeship training supporting both employers and apprentices.
- An interactive web tool for the African Skills Portal for Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship (ASPYEE) that guides the user through the content
We believe that all stakeholders in apprenticeship programmes will benefit from the apprenticeship skills training provided in the webinar, and also that your contribution could be of benefit to others. We therefore strongly encourage you to attend. There will be simultaneous interpretation into French.
