Guidelines on implementing work placed learning in Rwanda

This document sets out implementation guidelines for the Rwanda Workplace Learning policy adopted in 2015 in respect of Industrial Attachment, Internship, Dual Apprenticeship, Industry Based Training (IBT) and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

It has been developed through a widely consultative process led by the Ministry of Public Service and Labour (MIFOTRA) in collaboration with Ministry of Education and GIZ.

Call for a Wikimedian in Residence to lead the Africa Knowledge Initiative.
As part of its mission “to connect and build the field of narrative change-makers in Africa,” ANF will host a Wikimedian in Residence (WiR) to coordinate a yearlong series of content creation and capacity building activities that will connect Wikimedia communities in the region to ANF’s large network of researchers, journalists, and creators.

YouMatch is a global initiative implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) -improved during the project implementation phase from between 2016 to 2021 employment services through an interregional dialogue between practitioners.

A TVET Job Fair is an event where demand meets supply; information on labour market opportunities and information about the available workforce is exchanged. Also commonly referred to as a Career Day, Job Expo, Career Fair or Career Expo, Job Fairs are usually a single-day event held once to several times a year and typically take place at TVET premises.
