WorldSkills Africa advances skills development in Africa by helping youth gain practical, in-demand skills for employment, entrepreneurship, and economic transformation.

It promotes TVET as a key driver for inclusive growth and youth empowerment, bringing together a network of countries, education providers, and industry leaders to build high-quality, industry-relevant training systems and shift public perceptions of vocational careers.

Objectives

World Skills Africa aims to:

Drive economic growth by improving access to quality vocational education, increasing youth employability, and expanding career options

Support sustainable development by equipping youth with practical skills that contribute to environmental, social, and economic resilience

Influence policy and systems reform to build education and labour market systems that respond to Africa’s evolving skills needs.
