Programmes
Inspiring the future
AUDA-NEPAD programmes are anchored in the Continental TVET Strategy (CTVET), Africa’s framework for building responsive, inclusive, and high-quality skills systems.
The strategy provides the foundation for aligning education and training with labour market needs, creating meaningful opportunities for young people, and advancing innovation and entrepreneurship.
Through this strategy, ASPYEE connects youth, educators, programme implementers, researchers, policymakers, and the private sector to strengthen systems that prepare Africa’s workforce for the future.

Why it matters
Millions of young Africans enter the labour market each year, but too few find decent jobs. The CTVET Strategy provides a continental roadmap to close this gap; linking skills to employment, driving inclusive growth, and transforming
TVET into a key lever for human capital development. AUDA-NEPAD programmes bring this vision to life through practical initiatives, partnerships, and innovations across Africa.
