Apprenticeship Tools
Apprenticeship tools are applied when implementing an apprenticeship training programme. The tools are practical examples of how various key elements of an apprenticeship process are delivered. The practical examples have been collected from a range of apprenticeship programmes and systems at different stages of their development and delivery.
The presented examples represent a range of different tools currently being applied across different African apprenticeship programmes. The selected examples are not meant to represent an assessment of the quality of the presented tools but rather to offer practical insights which will, hopefully, inspire others. This neutral approach also applies to the ‘Pros and Cons’ sections which seek to provide guiding comments on how the tools could be applied and adapted to wider context
