The influence of EU migration policy on regional free movement in the IGAD and ECOWAS region

This study of the influence of EU migration policy on regional free movement in two African regions was commissioned as part of the project titled Reducing Root Causes of Forced Displacement and Managing Migration. This three-year project of the German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE) is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and aims to deepen empirical knowledge on drivers of forced displacement and regional migration governance.
