The Global Public-Private Knowledge Sharing Platform on Skills for Employment (Global KSP) which is initiated by the ILO in collaboration with OECD, UNESCO and the World Bank aims to help strengthen the links between education and training to productive and decent work by sharing approaches, knowledge and experiences which have been found to be effective in addressing these issues of common concern across the world.
In response to the COVID-19 crisis, an E-discussion platform has been started in order to provide a platform for sharing and discussing how to maintain learning and skills building for students and workers in times of crisis. It also aims to explore relevant and timely innovative practices in distance and online education and training.This discussion invites government representatives, employers’ and workers’ organizations, education and training providers, NGOs, and individuals, among others, to share and discuss how to maintain continued learning and skills building for students and workers in times of crisis, such as the COVID-19 pandemic which we all now face. It also aims to explore relevant and timely innovative practices in distance and online education and training.
