These reports are baseline studies which provide labour market and sector analysis for 6 African countries; Cameroon, Ethiopia, Kenya, South Africa, Ghana, and Nigeria.

The African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD) through the Skills Initiative for Africa (SIFA) commissioned a study to prioritize three economic sectors in Africa. These studies inform decision making on future skills development initiatives of the respective AU Member states. A mixed method (quantitative and qualitative) analysis was undertaken to understand labour demand and labour supply in the 6 countries. These findings were then verified and discussed by professional representatives who assisted in the completion of widely validated reports in the skills planning space from the 6 countries.
